Aegis may be looking to purchase additional 0800 phone numbers in future, as it has big plans for its new Manchester call centre.
Speaking to TheBusinessDesk.com, global chief executive of the company Aparup Sengupta said it hopes to employ thousands of people over the next few years, Property Week reports.
The enterprise recently announced the launch of its first European contact centre in the north-west and, in doing so, will initially create 600 new jobs.
Mr Sengupta said the site should be fully operational within two years before a "snowball effect" will see "growth momentum picking up".
Furthermore, consumers will be able to experience for themselves the high levels of customer service being provided.
He said the company's initial development is "just the beginning" and many more people will be employed in the future, with the north-west city's talent pool being a key factor in the project.
The BBC reported that the Aegis centre will be located in Piccadilly Gardens in the heart of Manchester.
