British Land reveals positive results for London offices

Date: 25/05/2011

New 020 numbers could be an important purchase for a number of companies given figures recently released by one organisation.

British Land has revealed an increase in its underlying profits in the year to March 31st - something that has been supported by investment in London office space and rental values.

Chief executive at the company Chris Grigg explained it has made a "significant commitment" to developing business premises in the capital.

Furthermore, a lettings rental performance shows there is "demand from occupiers for the well-located prime retail and London office assets we provide".

In particular, the retail leasing sector did particularly well, with occupancy remaining steady at 98.5 per cent and generating £5.8 million of new rent.

Companies establishing themselves in the city may want to take advantage of some of the benefits provided by 020 numbers.

As well as portraying a local image, they are cheap to call from both landlines and mobiles, something consumers are bound to welcome.
