Call centre expansion announced by GoResponse

Date: 08/12/2011

Non-geographic numbers may be needed by GoResponse as the company has announced it has trebled the size of its UK call centre.

The company has invested more than £10,000 in expanding its base at Kent Science Park, with the 24/7 call centre now having the capacity to increase its staff number from 95 people to 230.

Managing director at GoResponse Mark Kirby said: "This natural expansion gave us the opportunity to create an environment unparalleled in the marketplace and a chance to redevelop a lot of ways we provide our services for our clients."

Among the upgrades introduced at the centre are improved telecoms, better training amenities and staff facilities such as a staff gym.

GoResponse will now be able to field more calls as its seat capacity has grown from 50 to 130 spaces for telephone operators.

Founded in 2003, the company originally consisted of just four members of staff.
