Call centre looking for new buyer

Date: 12/12/2011

Revenue share numbers may be needed by the company that purchases a vacant call centre in South Tyneside.

The former Garlands building at the Market Dock in South Shields has been empty since 2010, but estate agents at Sanderson Weatherall are confident they will have a new buyer soon, the Jarrow and Hebburn Gazette reports.

Speaking on behalf of the company, David Jackson said: "Hopefully, the New Year will bring a bright new start for the building. It is a new building which has the potential to bring a lot of jobs to the area."

The venue could be the perfect location for a company looking to expand its call centre as it is already fitted out to meet such requirements.

It was recently noted by Lambert Smith Hampton demand for office space is likely to increase, as the country's gross domestic product levels are set to return to pre-recession levels by 2013-14.
