Could 020 numbers be required as London office space increases?

Date: 05/05/2011

New figures show there are likely to be plenty of opportunities for enterprises wishing to purchase new 020 numbers and open premises in London.

According to the latest Drivers Jonas Deloitte Crane Survey, a total of 25 new office construction schemes are currently taking place across the capital.

This is equal to 6.4 million sq ft, which could encourage a number of enterprises to consider getting 0207 phone numbers and taking up residence in the city.

As well as providing a local presence, these numbers are low cost for people to call from both a landline and a mobile phone.

Anthony Duggan, head of research at Drivers Jonas Deloitte, said: "This survey records a dramatic positive change in construction activity as anticipated in our last report."

He also noted that larger buildings in the West End have been "star performers over the last year" and developers are keen to cash in on this trend, which could be good news for businesses wishing to relocate.
