New local phone numbers may be required by a number of enterprises currently based on Chiltern Street in London.
The road's International House building has just been purchased by Ronson Capital Partners in a major deal worth £63 million, Property Week reports.
It is currently home to several enterprises spread over 80,590 sq ft of office space on the ground floor, as well as 12 upper levels.
However, these leases terminate in June 2014 and, as result, companies may need to relocate and buy new local phone numbers as the site is being turned into a residential development.
The new building will also feature ancillary retail - a location some enterprises may wish to take advantage of.
This is one of a number of developments that have taken place in the capital recently.
While Jamie's Italian has just taken on a 25-year lease at the recently completed Angel Building on St John Street, Travelodge has announced it is expanding its chain of Metro hotels.
