FedEx Express may be swapping its non-geographic phone numbers for alternative points of contact today (November 18th), as it is donating one of its call centres to Children In Need.
Between 100 and 120 employees from the firm's Coventry contact site are set to volunteer their time to take calls for the charity.
This is the third time FedEx has offered its services and last year it received abound 3,700 calls, raising £125,000.
Managing director of the enterprise's Coventry-based operations Adam Koffler said: "This is a completely employee driven programme and it is encouraging to see volunteers from all different functions of the company join together for one main aim."
He added there is always a great atmosphere on Children In Need day and the team hopes to beat last year's fundraising figure.
FedEx is not the only business offering its services, as the Autoglass headquarters are set to become the official contact centre for the Bedfordshire region, with 100 staff members dedicating their time.
