Firm's expansion plans continue with new Leeds office space

Date: 08/06/2011

One company that could be looking to purchase some non-geographical numbers is Projex Building Solutions.

It has just acquired new office space at Unit 3, One Brewery Wharf - a waterside development in the northern city of Leeds, the Yorkshire Post reports.

The premises are larger than the firm's previous home and it hopes the move will allow it to expand, despite the tough economic conditions currently being experienced in the UK.

Phil Tomalin, managing partner at Projex Building Solutions, said the business is pleased to be located next to other well-regarded enterprises.

"We were attracted by the quality of space and the nice environment and it's also close to the M1," he stated, adding that the firm aims to increase the number of staff it employs.

Other cities in which organisations may be tempted to set up a base could include Bristol and Glasgow, as they have been identified by HSBC Commercial Banking as 'super cities' that will help drive economic growth.
