Government 'should encourage entrepreneurs'

Individuals searching for 0800 number providers and establishing their own company may agree with one expert's comments regarding government support.

Michael Baxter, economist and author of The Blindfolded Masochist, claimed the coalition should do more to help the country's entrepreneurs.

He noted the possibility of establishing a public bank with funding supplied by quantitative easing has already been put forward by one member of parliament.

In the opinion of Mr Baxter, he was "very, very close to coming up with the correct solution".

"I believe there is only one possible way in which the UK economy can actually start generating significant and sustainable growth," the expert added.
