Non-geographic numbers could be the perfect choice for enterprises that wish to take advantage of the quality office space currently available in Manchester.
According to director of Colliers International Rupert Barron, there is plenty of Grade A space available in the north-west city.
He claimed that, if enterprises are "innovative" with their funding and the way they utilise space, they will find there are a number of opportunities.
Mr Barron also pointed out that the city is much better placed than other parts of the UK at present.
The expert said that "Manchester is in better health than many regional cities and is in position to move forward as the economy recovers over the next few years".
However, it is not only the city centre that offers opportunities for businesses.
The Manchester Evening News recently reported that many companies are choosing to set up in the suburbs, such as the £400 million Manchester Airport enterprise zone.
