London an "ideal" location for businesses

Date: 22/09/2011

Businesses trying to settle in the UK may be eager to purchase local telephone numbers and situate themselves in London.

This is because, according to chief executive of the British Council for Offices Richard Kauntze, it is the "ideal" location for firms.

He stated that there are good transport links in and out of the city, while companies will have a "hugely talented" and diverse pool of labour at their disposal.

Furthermore, there are very few places that come close to the capital in terms of international rivalry, the expert continued, noting that it offers plenty of cultural opportunities.

"Principally London, in my view, is one of only two genuine world cities, the other being New York," Mr Kauntze added.

He had previously pointed out that most of the capital's business activity occurs within the Circle Line, while there are a number of office developments springing up in the Midtown and West End areas.
