London talent agency opens Manchester offices

One company that may require some new 0800 numbers is Max Callum.

The talent agency is based in London but has decided to move some of its operations to Manchester.

It will be occupying an office in The Greenhouse at the MediaCityUK development in Salford.

Although the company will retain its premises in the capital, creator of the enterprise Max Callum explained it was important to have an outlet in the north-west.

He said the firm believes in "the family ethos of working closely with other companies who neighbour our offices, which is why we decided to open an office, rather than serving MediaCityUK from our London base".

New 0800 numbers could be perfect for the agency - which supplies extras, walk-ons, tutors and chaperones - as they will allow it to retain a national presence, no matter where it is based.

Other businesses located in the area include Dreamscope, Libra Television, Peachy and Armstrong Legal, as well as the BBC.
