Milton Keynes call centre to help Children in Need

A call centre in Milton Keynes may need call divert services to reroute enquiries to a special non-geographic number later this month.

Volkswagen Financial Services has put itself forward to be an official contact centre for Children in Need on November 18th.

Staff members will also engage in fundraising activities throughout the month, holding bake sales and fancy dress days.

More than 150 workers will give up their time to answer the phones and take telephone donations for the appeal.

Joint-managing director of Volkswagen Financial Services Lisa Stacey said that "everyone at Volkswagen Financial Services is delighted to have the opportunity to help make this year another success story".

This is not the only company volunteering to help the worthy cause, as the Npower contact centre on Wetmore Road in Burton will also be offering its phone lines for use by Children in Need on November 18th.
