New office plans submitted for west London

Date: 27/05/2011

Firms may want to consider purchasing 0208 numbers and establishing themselves in west London.

New plans for the 'Octopus' office development on Chiswick Roundabout have been drawn up by London & Bath Estates and Galliard.

Although the original scheme was rejected, it is hoped fresh proposals will address any previous issues with the build.

It will provide 52,000 sq ft of office space as well as a 3,500 sq ft retail showroom on the ground floor.

Kim Gottlieb, managing director of London & Bath Estates, described the building as having a "striking design and unique location".

"I am confident that we now have a scheme that is right for Hounslow Council and for the local area," she added.

If companies do choose to relocate to the west of the capital, local 0208 numbers could ensure they continue to promote a city centre presence to clients.

This comes after Land Securities also announced it is to increase its portfolio of London office space, as demand for premises is outstripping supply.
