VoIP phone numbers 'reduce outgoings for businesses'

A growing number of enterprises are realising the benefits of using a VoIP phone number, especially if they need to limit their outgoings, no matter what their geographical location.

This is according to TMCnet contributor Beecher Tuttle, who has experience of working in a number of different industries.

He stated that due to the nature of the economy, small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are being forced to "limit their operational costs at every turn".

He recommended VoIP technology as being an easy way to do this because it can be utilised from any location and noted there are two different options to choose from.

While some SMBs may select a hosted voice service, others could go for an on-premise alternative.

"These solutions are especially beneficial for SMBs because they require very minimal start-up costs," Mr Tuttle added.

For enterprises that prefer to stick to more traditional methods of communication, purchasing 03 numbers could help to drive business as they cost the same for customers to call from a mobile as a landline.
