Workspace Group reports increase in London office occupancy

Date: 07/06/2011

A growing number of businesses could be purchasing 020 numbers and acquiring offices in London, new figures suggest.

Workspace Group has announced positive results for the 12-month period ending March 31st 2011, while occupancy was also up.

The capital could be an attractive location for enterprises at present, as chief executive of the organisation Harry Platt claimed they helped to boost Workspace's profits.

"London is recovering well and our customers, small and medium-sized enterprises across London, are contributing to this," he stated.

It also looks as though this trend could continue, as Mr Platt said he thinks the company has a "solid platform" to create further value in the future.

One large-scale enterprise that could be looking to purchase new local phone numbers is Lonely Planet.

The travel publisher is opening a new office in the capital and will be creating 30 jobs as it moves to become closer to its parent organisation the BBC.
