Revenue Share numbers

Numbers beginning 0844 or 0871 are known as 'revenue sharing' numbers which means that if you purchase and advertise a number of this type, you earn money for each incoming call that you receive on that number.

Revenue share numbers are a useful way to offset costs in providing your callers with a service and as such are often used for ticket hotlines, technical assistance or other services.

The amount of rebate you receive varies for each number; 1.5p per minute for 0844 numbers and 3.5p for 0871 numbers. The cost for your customers to call these numbers also varies; 5p per minute for 0844 numbers and 10p for 0871 numbers.
